Beyond the Blue Tsunami: An End to Extremism, and a Beginning for Unity
The Archangels Talk About Next Steps

The Archangels have long been telling us that unity is a must if change is to take place. They’ve been asking us to focus on what we have in common, rather than on our differences. They’ve suggested that we ask questions and seek the truth, rather than believe everything we’re told, and to stop surrendering our power to others. They promote opening our hearts and minds and seeing ourselves in each other’s faces. They say that sustainable change and solutions will not happen until we stand together, the vast majority, and demand it, and when we do that, they say the people who can affect that kind of change will take their places and get to work. I’m hoping that at least some of the newly elected politicians are some of those people, but even if they are, they will not succeed without the backing of the masses. It’s my hope that we continue to stand together for change now that the elections are over.
I think we need to get rid of labels and categories that divide us. Democrats vs. Republicans, red vs. blue, conservatives vs. liberals are descriptions that divide us. If it was up to me, we’d ditch all those labels in favor of considering all of us as belonging to the same group, human beings, who deserve to be treated with care and dignity. All of us. We all want and deserve the bare necessities, what we need for survival. We’re all tired of struggling more and more with very little to show for it. If we could ditch the labels, stereotypes, and propaganda and embrace our commonalities and address common problems, we’d be a lot better off. Before we can demand that of our politicians, we have to practice that ourselves, and I think that’s what happened on election day this week. We have a long way to go in terms of unity, but I think we’ve at least begun to work towards that. I asked the Archangels for some guidance with regard to moving forward now that the elections are over, and their response follows.
Question: I see the US elections as a sign of unity, of people coming together and demanding change. How can we continue to build on this new unity?
Answer:
Unity was indeed behind the changes made through the elections, and we commend you for them, but it will not be enough without a continuation of that unity and its increase as you move forward. What you need to understand is, without the masses standing together and supporting what they do and do not want, there will simply be a rotation of changes in power over and over again, and nothing major or sustainable will change.
Consider that many of your laws and many current endeavors do not reflect what the majority wants or supports, which is evident when federal laws are put to the vote in states that offer that option to their constituents. Reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, data centers, and other issues that your central government has supported for its own, self-centered reasons and personal gain have been overturned in the vast majority of cases by the masses. Many states deny this option to their people, because they know their efforts do not reflect what the people want, and they make sure they never have the chance to challenge them. The mass expulsion of such people who have misused their power and control in favor of their own agendas and who have ignored what the people want and need is a sign of unity and a rejection of that power and control. It is a reflection of a new clarity evolving, as well as a new determination and demand for change.
What we hope to impart to you is that your work is not done. If you do not continue to build this new unity, you will prolong the change that is needed. In the US, there are major elections every two years. Consider how often power has changed hands after these elections in various ways, then consider what sustainable change has taken place and whether or not the majority of people have benefited after power has changed hands. Is your life easier and better than it was before these power changes, or has it become harder? The people in government love their power positions, and they wish to keep them in most cases, but until you demand that they work on what is important to you in ways that are acceptable to you, until you reject the status quo and insist on change, you will continue to struggle.
Another thing we see is that fewer people are being so easily manipulated through fear and anger. There are extremists in all groups, but they are few in number. Each political side is guilty of throwing out extremist views, blame, and accusations and building their cases for holding onto their power on fear of what might happen if their counterparts take control and anger over divisive issues, rather than announcing the good that they have accomplished. Why? Because they have accomplished very little for the people, while increasing their own benefits. They base their cases for reelection on promoting fear and fanning flames of anger, naming scapegoats and pointing blame elsewhere, because they have nothing to brag about and remind you of in terms of positive accomplishments which have helped you. People are beginning to see this, and they are questioning what they are being told. This is a significant step in the right direction. However, if you do not continue to reject their efforts in between elections, things will not change significantly.
The recent elections reflected a rejection of what you do not want. You do not want extremism, cruelty, revenge, corruption, a loss of freedom and personal rights, inequality, and mistreatment of people. Next, you need to identify some things that you do want and what you are willing to do to make that happen. If you want a better life, it must extend beyond you to others. If you want to keep your freedoms and personal rights, you must afford those things to everyone else. If you do not want your choices limited and forced to comply with things you disagree with, you must relinquish the need to control, limit, and force others into compliance. If you want safety, housing, substantial food and water, clothing, and medical care when needed, you must be willing to make sure that all people have those basic necessities for survival. Taking away from some for the benefit of others will not create the kind of world you want. The idea that some people are more worthy than others must be abolished.
Most of you are evolving in these areas. Most of you care about fairness and equality and honesty. Most of you see yourselves in others’ faces now, and you are beginning to want to work together for all people, rather than just for yourselves. This is what is needed. Please understand that simply rejecting what is happening is not enough. You must stand together for change, also. Blocking endeavors and actions that are unacceptable, that cause harm, is a good start, but now you must also begin to adopt and support new measures that promote actions that help people, also, and we mean all people, not just your immediate sub-groups. Support those leaders who are willing to work for all the people, not just you and the people you know and love. This is the way forward, and it begins with you and the internal need to do what is right, whether or not it is easy, and whether or not it positively affects you personally. Make decisions based on joy, hope, love, and peace for all. It begins with you and expands to others.
We see this happening. Bribing people to vote a certain way did not work this time, because people recognize that what has been happening is unacceptable, whether or not it directly affected them. Threatening what would happen if you voted a certain way did not sway voters this time, because fear mongering has begun to lose its hold on people. Blaming the other side and various scapegoats did not allow for manipulation this time, because people are less concerned with the cause than they are in finding a cure, and they are recognizing truths and untruths. Spreading lies and false accusations and doomsday predictions did not allow for manipulation and control this time, because people are finding their power. These are all steps in the right direction, but it is not enough. Build on the unity you are see developing. Stop attacking each other and seeing each other as the enemies those in power have accused each other of being. Reject the stereotypes, propaganda, lies, and extremist views that are bombarding you constantly and seek the truth with an open mind and heart. The more you talk to each other and try to understand each other, the more powerful you will become.
Final Thoughts
This message makes a lot of sense. I think most people are tired of the extremism and those who promote and practice it, and they want a return to compassion, integrity, transparency, and truth. One of the clearest examples in my mind is immigration reform. Most people want our borders to be safe and monitored. They don’t want criminals and terrorists entering the country. Also, most people do not want children separated from their parents, violence against people who are causing no harm, taking and keeping them in facilities that are inhumane for months before their legal rights kick in, and killing people, citizens and non-citizens, without justification.
Most of the people who voted for the current administration based on the need for immigration reform were not cheering when they saw these things happening. They were as horrified as the people who voted differently than they did. While we all want to be safe and prevent harmful people from entering the country, most of us can agree that there are ways to do that without the high cost that has been exacted, including the abuse of people and disregard of the law, and the stripping of rights and freedoms that all people should be given, simply because they are human beings.
I’m cautiously hopeful that we’re heading in a better direction, but just switching political power to the other side isn’t enough. We’ve done that lots of times, and things haven’t improved much. People are still voting for the lesser of two evils or in rejection of what is happening, rather than choosing candidates who they are confident will make a positive difference. Many of us voted in retaliation, and while that’s understandable, it’s not necessarily effective in the long term. We need to be clear about what we want and don’t want. Politicians love to threaten us with extremist views, rather than tell us what they are doing to improve the situation, because they aren’t doing much. We need to unite for change and work together, not just leave it to the politicians, because it’s pretty clear that neither side can be trusted to make our lives better. We have to do that.
People who have stated that compassion and empathy are weaknesses and detrimental to the country are extremists. People who want to force their religion on others and ban or discriminate against those of other religions are extremists. People who condemn others, just because they are different and do not fit under their definition of who they consider to be acceptable are extremists. People who think they should be able to limit personal choices which do not harm others simply because they disagree with those choices are extremists. People who think it is alright to deny constitutional rights and the rule of law simply because it suits their own purposes and personal agendas are extremists. We don’t need those kinds of people in this country and certainly not in any positions of power, any more than we need criminals and terrorists. Most of us are not extremists. Most of us just want to be safe, healthy, and happy. Most of us have compassion and reject the abuse and persecution of others simply because they are different. Most of us are decent, law abiding, caring people. That is common ground we can build on.
If you don’t receive my newsletter, the new intention for Friday Night Meditation with the Archangels for November is Clarity. I think many of us are seeing things more clearly these days and are refusing the tactics of manipulation that have worked so well in the past, and we are finding our power. I also think we could use more clarity in how we see each other and as we choose a path forward. Change is clearly needed, but we need clarity in identifying what that change should look like and how to proceed individually and collectively to make it happen.
We could also use more clarity in determining the truth from the non-truth. Recognizing that we are not each other’s enemies is a great first step, along with seeking common ground and working together. I don’t know many people who are certain about the future, and we can all use more clarity as we move forward. If you feel called to join us, simply call out to the Archangels from wherever you are, whenever you are available, and offer your good wishes, prayers, and/or energy to anyone and everyone who needs it, including yourself. The Angels will hear you and collect our offerings and disperse it where it’s needed most.
I hope your weekend is filled with joy, hope, love, and peace, and I hope you’ll continue to envision the world you hope to see someday. If we can visualize it, we can work towards it, together.
Blessings, all.
