Thoughts and Words Have Energy, Too

The Archangels Explain How We Build Energy

There’s a lot of talk about energy these days, raising your vibration, shielding yourself from negative energy, the energy changes taking place now that we’re moving into the fifth dimension, etc. etc.  I talk about energy a lot, and I’ve experienced a lot of changes in my energy system and have become very sensitive to energy in general, which isn’t always pleasant or easy.  I can tell if I want to spend more time with someone when I meet them, even when I receive a comment or email from them.  That’s not to say I can analyze why I might or might not want to spend time with them; I can just sense a similarity or clash in energy when I feel it.

Sometimes, a person is angry or filled with fear or just doesn’t like me.  Sometimes, a person and I have fundamentally different approaches to life, which are simply not comfortable, and sometimes people just have different priorities than I do, and we’re not a good energetic fit.  It doesn’t mean they’re right or wrong, good or bad, or better or worse than I am.  It just means that we’re energetically different or incompatible, and that never presents itself in a favorable or enjoyable light for me, so I tend to avoid a lot of interaction with them when possible.

Everything is connected to energy, and everything is made from energy.  Energy moves and fluctuates and can affect us in so many ways.  Those who are sensitive to energy can pick up on residual energy from long ago in favorable or unfavorable ways.  Many people have reported going on trips or tours to places where troubling things have happened, such as former battlefields, prisons, or psychiatric hospitals and say they felt a foreboding atmosphere surrounding them, even though nothing has happened there for many years.  The people may be long gone, but the energy, can remain.  The same can be said when you go to someone’s home and feel automatically comfortable or are trying to find a new home to buy.  Sometimes, you walk in, and you just know it’s a good place for you.

We know there is energy in people, places, and actions, but there is also powerful energy attached to thoughts, emotions, intentions, and words.  Let’s do a quick experiment.  How do you feel when you say or think the word “love?”  Now say or think the word, “hate.”  Feel the difference?   Whether you say it aloud or just think it, there is energy attached to it, and that energy can affect you and others around you.  Remember, energy can shift, its frequency can change, it can move, but it doesn’t just dissolve and disappear.

I asked the Archangels about how we can optimize our energy with regard to its more abstract sources that we process all the time, and their response follows.

Question:  How important is it to monitor and shape the less concrete sources of energy, such as our thoughts, words, intentions, etc.?

Answer:

It is of extreme importance, for the more concrete sources of energy, such as people and places, are more easily controlled, and the energy attached to them can often simply be avoided if it is not helpful.  Even emotions, which are also abstract in many ways, can be managed relatively easily compared to things like thoughts and words and ideas and intentions, because you feel them immediately and can know right away if the emotion you are experiencing is pleasant or not.  However, thoughts, ideas, intentions, and words are often formed, shared, and indulged more quickly.  These things can also be managed, but it is often difficult to maintain awareness of them if you do not make a conscious effort and, in the beginning, at least, constant effort is needed to do so.

Many people have negative or low vibrational thoughts, but because they do not act on them, they think they are inconsequential.  They are not.  If someone harms you, or if you witness something on the news that angers you, and you wish something bad happens to someone, that intention and thought is not likely to harm them, but it does harm you.  It lowers your vibration, and it dampens your spirit.  The energy affects you in an adverse way.  Many people do not realize this at the time, but when you are in the habit of thinking things of that nature, the energy you produce is harmful and hurtful to you.   It cancels out more uplifting energy.  This is why we counsel you to focus on joy, hope, love, and peace instead.  When you do, your life is uplifted, and so are you, as well as those around you.

When you allow your thoughts to be negative, they weigh you down, and it is not as easy to overcome adversity you encounter.  Consider the following scenarios:

1)You are driving to work, and someone cuts you off, requiring you to slam on the brakes, narrowly avoiding an accident.  You mentally call the person every vile name you can think of, perhaps even honk your horn numerous times and hope they end up in a ditch on the side of the rode or at the very least, get a traffic ticket.
2)You are driving to work, and someone cuts you off, requiring you to slam on the brakes, narrowly avoiding an accident.  You are aggravated for good reason, but you intentionally cut off the mental name calling, and you hope they make it to their destination safely, along with everyone else who comes into their path.  Perhaps you wonder if there is an emergency, and you wish them well.

Which scenario are you likely to overcome more quickly?  Have you not encountered people who react similarly to the first scenario and are still talking about the idiot who nearly caused them to wreck on their drive over?  They are still agitated, their heartbeat is elevated, and their emotions are overpowering, perhaps affecting their ability to concentrate on their current surroundings, because they are still involved in what happened earlier.  Those who are able to react like the second scenario have usually already forgotten the incident, and they are ready to move onto better things.  Which aftermath would you prefer to experience?

Words have power, because they have energy.  It is always a good idea to choose your words carefully, not only because they can affect others who hear them, but because they affect the speaker in a very powerful way, even if you do not realize it at the time.  When you say you hate something, you put your mind and body on high alert, even when you are exaggerating.  When you say you love something, you open your heart to it, even if you have no intention of pursuing it.  Whether you are on high alert or open your heart, it strongly affects you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and energetically.

Our channel once asked us how someone can decide whether something is “good” or “bad,” and we responded that it had less to do with whatever action was taking place and more to do with the intent behind it.  When you do something, and the intention behind it comes from your heart, which means it is based in love, and there is no malice attached to it, whether or not you accomplish what you set out to do, it is a good thing, and more good will come from it, because the energy created was high vibrational and will have a positive impact on everyone connected to it.  On the other hand, when you hope and want something to happen that is based in hatred or malice against someone and want to see them suffer, whether or not anything happens to anyone, you have caused harm through the energy you have invested in and spread.  Most importantly, you have caused harm to yourself, and you will at some point need to heal from it if you are to have peace of mind.

We know it is difficult to witness some of the harmful things that are happening in the world, and we know that it is easy to have harsh thoughts, words, and intentions toward those who perpetuate the harm being done, but that does not serve anyone, least of all yourself or those being harmed.  Emotions come naturally and easily to human beings.  You do not have to apologize for feeling them, including things like anger, fear, resentment, jealousy, and the desire for vengeance, but you must endeavor to overcome and replace them, not for others, but for your own wellbeing

It will not be anger, retribution, revenge, or violence that overcomes the problems you are currently facing.  Solutions will not be found and problems will not be solved through a change in governance or political parties.  The only thing that will change your circumstances and improve the world is unity.  In order to form the kind of unity needed for reform, you must set aside your differences and work together for change.  You do not have to agree on everything, but you will not be able to make things better without working together, and you will not be able to work together without setting aside the negative energy and replacing it with more positive energy.

When you hear of or witness something terrible, focus on sending positive, high vibrational energy to those who are suffering and towards finding solutions that help everybody.  Do not spend time, effort, and energy cursing the people behind the problems.

That does not help anyone.  It does not harm the perpetrators, it does not help those who are suffering, and it does not solve the problems.  What it does do is harm the chances of overcoming the problems by strengthening the negative energy behind them.  Instead, join forces with others who recognize that things need to change and work together towards making that happen.

We know this is not easy.  Our channel often struggles with anger when she hears of things happening in the world that are harmful to others.  It hurts her to see others hurting.  She has to make a conscious effort to cut off the anger and replace it with sending positive, loving energy to all those involved, hoping the people behind the problems will realize the harm they are causing and change course, and sending loving energy to those struggling.  The truth is, some of the people behind the harm being caused will never change during this lifetime, but sending them positive energy will not hurt them or the situation, and it will help others maintain peace of mind, thereby allowing them to make a more positive impact on the situation.

Change is needed, obviously, and anger can serve as a catalyst for action and unity.  However, if sustainable change is to take place, the thoughts, words, ideas, intentions, and actions must be heart-based, rather than fear or anger based. Begin with anger, but change that anger into things like compassion, hope, joy, love, and peace.  Success depends on where you focus your energy and what kind of energy you build and maintain.

Final Thoughts

So much easier said than done, isn’t it?  I try to limit my exposure to the news as much as possible, because it upsets me, and I don’t want to be overwhelmed by all that negativity.  I want to keep up to date on what’s happening, but I don’t want details and to focus on the negative.  It’s often hard to remember that we all serve a higher purpose.  It’s also hard to find compassion for the people causing the most harm, but whether or not I’m always successful, I always try, and that counts.  I don’t want to add to the negativity, I want to add to the positivity, and that means I often have to change my focus and intention, not only when I’m around or hearing about the people and things I don’t like, but also when I’m around like-minded people.

We love to support each other, which is a good thing, but if that leads to reinforcing our anger toward the people and actions we disapprove of, the negativity builds, and the positivity is overwhelmed by it.  I was just speaking to a friend of mine earlier this week who shares similar opinions on politics and current events, and I realized that as we agreed with each other’s assessments and opinions, my anger began to build again, so I shut that down and moved on to brighter topics, reminding myself that everyone plays a role in what is happening, and we all serve a higher purpose.

I don’t wish harm toward anyone.  I don’t hate anyone.  But, man, it’s hard not to get caught up in the anger and judgment sometimes.  That’s when I have to consciously shift my focus to joy, hope, love, and peace.  Hope and love come pretty naturally to me, but I often have to work harder on joy and peace.  It’s ongoing, and I’m a work in progress, just like everyone else.

If you’d like some help with maintaining the joy, hope, love, and peace and managing the anger, fear, etc., you’re welcome to join our group in Friday Night Meditation from wherever you are, at whatever time you are available.  The intention for the month of February is individual Sovereignty, that is, recognizing and standing in your own power and doing what is right.  I think this a very fitting theme, as I believe there are many people involved in the chaos happening around us that know what they are doing is wrong, but they are struggling to find the strength and fortitude to correct course.  Maybe we’re caught up in similar situations.  They and we often need some help managing and maintaining our purpose and acting accordingly.  If this is something you can support, just call on the Archangels and offer loving energy to whoever needs it, including yourself, and they will take it from there.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend steeped in joy, hope, love, and peace.

Blessings, all.
