The Awakening of Mankind
The Archangels Talk About Changing Mindset

I went to see the movie, The Odyssey, this week. It was very well done, although it was kind of long for me. The first half was devoted to all the trials, tribulations, and adventures Odysseus and his men incurred as they tried to make their way back home after being at war with Troy for ten years. I enjoyed the second half much more, not only because Odysseus finally made it home, but because of his character arc, how he realized his flaws and mistakes and tried to correct them, and how he finally found peace.
I found it very thought provoking for several reasons. First, Homer portrayed the Greek gods and goddesses as manipulative, cruel, judgmental, vindictive, and punishing, which I was able to draw parallels with to some modern day religious beliefs which suggest that God judges, condemns and punishes people. That’s not what I believe. I believe what the Archangels have shared with us, that we are loved unconditionally. Homer suggested that Odysseus suffered all those hardships, because he disrespected the gods, including offering a gift in Athena’s name in the form of the Trojan horse, which of course was his tricky entry into Troy that enabled his army to overrun and defeat the city after ten years of being unable to breach its walls.
Odysseus felt that he deserved to suffer not only for his disrespect to the gods, but also for what followed once his army entered the city and the pillaging, rape, murder, and destruction that followed. He hints at the terrible dismay and realization that ten years of frustration culminated in a mob-like mentality that stripped men of decency, mercy, and humanity and brought the war to a terrible, horrifying end. Rather than celebrating that end, he left scarred and guilt-ridden for the loss of life and display of chaotic wrath.
It reminded me that there have been similar chapters throughout history, of people destroying other people, forgetting mercy and compassion in order to heighten power and control. We can still see this today. There are still wars, and people continue to suffer, not because of gods, but because of other people. God didn’t cause the problems we face today, people did. Further, God isn’t going to fix them for us. We have to do that.
With that in mind, I asked the Archangels to talk about where we go from here. We’re in the middle of The Shift from 3D to 5D, and although I believe them when they tell us we’re headed in the right direction, sometimes the changes that need to happen feel so overwhelming. The Odyssey was written by Homer around 700-600 B.C., yet there are still so many parallels to today’s society. How are we supposed to overcome and overturn thousands of years of bad behavior? Their response follows.
Question: I know things are changing and improving, but I also know they’re likely to get worse before they get better. This is easy to see right now as wars continue, not only between countries, but within countries, as people fight for more power and control and threaten freedom and personal rights and choices. We have such a terrible track record! There seem to be far more people losing than there are winning. What’s the best way to proceed?
Answer:
This is such a good question, and we ask that you stay tuned in, even though some of what we will say will be very repetitive to what we have been telling you for years. Yes, the struggle is real. You mentioned wars between countries and within countries, and we would add that there are wars within individuals as well, as people awaken to the reality of what surrounds them, what burdens them, and what confines them. The first battles are fought individually and internally.
Before problems can be solved, they must be recognized, acknowledged, and condemned, and that is what has been happening for quite some time. This realization that things are not right is necessary before any change can be contemplated, much less implemented. For some this is a realization that beliefs, some of which have been held dear and uncontested for generations, for lifetimes, are flawed and no longer relevant. This is extremely difficult for most people, because it requires acceptance of mistakes made on the part of leaders and followers. Not only must you face the fact that you were wrong about certain things, but you must find the courage to find a different way of thinking and acting, and it is not as if everyone reaches this conclusion at the same time. No, people live according to their own paths, within their own timelines, so those who awaken to the truth earlier often face cutting ties with others who have yet to reach the same conclusion, or they face condemnation and persecution from others who have yet to see things clearly. This is why there is such stress on so many relationships right now.
Still, we encourage you to find new truths, to see things more clearly, to face your fears, and to grow. It is not simply changes that are needed. The changes are enormous, systemic, and upending, and they all need to be connected with a new mindset, which is the most difficult thing of all, and again, it begins with individuals. This is where the Big 4 – joy, hope, love, and peace – come into being. New priorities need to be formed, and they must be built around these foundations. When enough of you have found and maintained joy, hope, love, and peace within your own lives, you will apply these to outside projects and how systems are designed and run.
For so long, people have been striving for outside gratification, while they have failed to meet internal needs. What is wealth without joy? What is prestige and notoriety without peace of mind? You do not have to choose between these things, you must integrate them. Rather than the competition that has driven society, collaboration must be sought and developed. Definitions of excellence, success, and progress must change in a way that reflects benefits for all, rather than just some. This is the mindset we speak of. The idea that some people must be sacrificed for the sake of others to thrive is outdated and must be replaced with ideas that offer equal opportunity to all people.
You are all in transition of mindset right now. Work on your own mindset first, then when you have an abundance of joy, hope, love, and peace, you can find others of like minds and work on finding and building solutions along those lines. The solutions will come after the mindset changes. You cannot change mindset by beginning with entire groups. Personal transformation leads the way to group transformation, so work on yourself first. Change your own priorities first. Improve yourself and your own life first.
You are correct that you have a terrible track record, but that does not mean it must or will continue. The energy of and around Earth has changed, making the kinds of changes we are speaking of entirely possible. You are also correct when you say that the Creator, however you relate to Him/Her/It/Them, will not fix things for you. Only mankind can fix mankind’s problems. However, you have a lot of support to help guide you in the right direction and that will provide and organize resources to assist you in these changes along the way, whether they be in the form of people, ideas, opportunities, thoughts, materials, revelations, etc. These things already exist and are only waiting for the mindset to change. Once enough individuals change their mindset, it will spread to groups, then the solutions will appear, along with what is needed to implement them.
Release anger and fear, and embrace change and each other. Stop the emotional manipulation that has been taking place for so long, and take back your power. Reject the separation that has been strategically installed, and rebuild the bridges that have been burned. As those in power continue to try to hold onto that power, they become more and more desperate. They have turned you against each other, so that they can continue to reign over you. Discard that mindset and develop a new one that offers acceptance of others’ differences and relinquish the need to force and control others. Work together. We, also, will work with you, and eventually, things will change, and you will set a new track record that is better, more fair, and more equitable. Yes, it takes time and effort, but it can be done. It has already started, and you continue to make progress.
Final Thoughts
Things changed for Odysseus when he changed internally. Yes, it’s a fictional story, but all good fiction is based on certain truths that we can all relate to, and The Odyssey is no exception. In fact, for something written so long ago, one of the earliest pieces of literature, it still offers several lessons we can learn.
Odysseus realized that the things he thought were so important led him away from what was truly important. He worked on forgiving himself and went about righting some wrongs he felt responsible for, which led him back home to his country and family. He was never a bad guy, really, he just lost his way, and his priorities were out of whack. Once he was able to see his mistakes and atone for them, he found his own sense of joy and peace, and it had nothing to do with the things he’d prioritized before the Trojan War.
We all make mistakes, and we’ve all been victims of societal rules and guidelines that, in hindsight, don’t make sense. We’ve been fooled and manipulated and controlled. We’ve given up our power, and it’s time to take it back. It’s hard to reform beliefs and practices that we’ve held for lifetimes, and it’s also hard to realize and accept that what we’ve believed and practiced no longer works and needs to change. We need to change. It’s hard enough to change habits, but changing our mindset is even more challenging.
We begin by changing our own lives, specifically our priorities, and the way to do that is to bring more joy, hope, love, and peace into our lives, building our lives around these things. Stepping on others in order to get ahead doesn’t bring us peace. Playing by a bunch of rules, accepting boundaries and limits placed upon us, and going along with the status quo even when it doesn’t make sense simply because it’s easier and familiar isn’t helping us or the world. By changing ourselves, we will change the world. By embracing change, we can correct problems. By allowing ourselves to see things clearly, ask questions, and challenge past practices, we open the door to a better life.
The intention for Friday Night Meditation with the Archangels is Transformation, and that’s exactly what we’re all going through. We are transforming ourselves, and we will eventually transform the world, and the Angels will help us do that. Call on the Archangels from wherever you are, at whatever time you’re available, and join your loving energy with the group’s in the name of transformation for ourselves and the world. They’ll hear you, and they’ll collect our energy and disperse it where it’s needed most.
I hope your weekend is full of joy, hope, love, and peace, and if you’re running low in any of those areas, I hope you’ll stage an intervention, whatever that looks like for you, to improve something in your life.
Blessings, all.
