#1: Where there is fear, there is judgment.

I just returned from the Soul Magic event in Santa Barbara, CA last weekend, and I wanted to share a few highlights with you. This is an annual retreat given by Lee Harris, world famous channel for The Z’s, and his exceptional team. It’s the second time I’ve attended, and it was just as great the second time as it was the first.
This was a six day undertaking that offered morning and afternoon sessions, as well as several other offerings in the evenings. Each session began with a kind of social time when Lee chose people from the audience to talk about what brought them to the meeting and how they were finding it. He often offered psychic information his Guides gave him during the conversations, advice, encouragement, and support. Most of the people who spoke had stories the rest of us, around 350 people in all from many states and countries, could relate to, and the audience joined Lee in supporting all of the speakers.
After the one-on-one talks ended, Lee would channel his Guides, the Z’s, who would speak about several items on the agenda/focus list given to the participants, including past, present, and future, energy, unity, and how life on Earth is changing and why. I want to share some snippets from the sessions that caught my interest and challenged me to reflect, think, and plan. I hope you’ll find them as inspiring as I did.
#1: “Where there is fear, there is judgment.”
I never thought about his before, but it’s so true! People who judge others are living in a place of fear. Think of all the persecution going on in the world right now. Immigrants have been made a scapegoat for so many problems. In the US, they’re called the worst of the worst, when in fact, very few immigrants, legal or illegal, commit violent crimes, including all the people who have been rounded up by ICE and Border Patrol. True, many bypassed the legalities of immigration, but most try to stay below the radar, and the extent of the laws they have broken are mostly related to immigration, not violent crime. Many communities count on their participation in their economy and filling job vacancies. Many economic areas are feeling the sting of losing these valuable, contributing members of their communities.
There’s so much persecution against the LGBTQ+ community, when most of the accusations flying around about them – such as pedophilia, child grooming, deviant behavior, etc. – are unfounded and false. All of those things people feared if same sex marriage was legalized have been disproven. The trans community is under attack despite treatments that are scientifically based and research proven to save lives, and parental, individual, and familial rights are being trampled on. Why outsiders and politicians think they should be able to weigh in on family matters and decisions is difficult to understand. Medical treatments that are medically and scientifically supported and research proven should be made by the families affected, rather than strangers without any background knowledge.
Women in various parts of the world are under subjugation, because the patriarchy does not want to lose its power. There’s a surge in movements that mouth suggestions including taking away the right to vote, to work, to apply for credit, to access divorce, not to mention unfounded accusations that suggest women are not as smart or capable as men when it comes to making decisions.
The Christian Nationalists movement in all of its forms declares that our very lives and freedom are at risk from other religions and can only be protected by forcing compliance with the Christian religion. They’re not satisfied with the right to practice their own religion and want to force everyone else to practice it, too. The separation of church and state is under attack more vigorously than it has been since the nation was founded with mandates to teach the Bible in public schools and post the Ten Commandments in all classrooms. To listen to them talk, all other religions and their followers are a threat to the nation and society in general.
Behind all of these judgments lurks fear and ignorance.
#2: “Self-love is the absence of judgment.” And “There is nothing wrong with you; you are complete.”
We are our own worse critics so many times. The Archangels have told me on numerous occasions to give myself a break. High standards are fine, but when we don’t reach them every time, many of us tend to feel badly about ourselves. We. Are. Human. We’re going to make mistakes. We don’t always get it right, but I think trying counts.
Wouldn’t it be nice if, when we fell short of the mark, we could remind ourselves that when you give your best, that’s a kind of victory in itself. We’re never going to be perfect, and when we make mistakes, as long as we try to find the lessons in them, they provide great opportunities to learn and grow.
#3: “You are power in human form. You are never without power.”
The Angels and Guides I channel are constantly telling us that we are more powerful than we realize, and that we need to reclaim our power. That means questioning things that have been in place for so long, we don’t know when they began and when we stopped questioning whether or not they serve us well.
We’ve all been placed within boundaries and limits that we’ve grown so used to, they’ve become rote. It’s time to start questioning whether the systems in place serve us well or need to be changed. Asking individually isn’t enough. We need to unite and join forces for sustainable, meaningful change to happen.
#4: “When you have no hope, you are thinking in the past or the present.”
Think about this. We lose hope when we get stuck in the past and focus on failures, challenges we struggled to overcome, and hardships we experienced. We are sometimes frozen by fear that hard times will return. The same can be said about struggling today. Who isn’t worried about rising prices and possibly surviving the fallout of the many challenges of today? However, if we pull away our focus and place it on the future, hope is often easier to find. If we can identify problems and work on solutions, the future can offer hope for a better life.
#5: “You don’t belong in mainstream energy. You have outgrown it.”
I think this is true for many of us. If you’re on a more spiritual path, and you’re actively seeking more joy, hope, love, and peace, you don’t fit into the mainstream network of people whose time is taken up with doom scrolling and are steeped in anger and fear and are convinced that the only way to survive is to control others and force them into compliance with our idea of what is the right way of doing things. When we do that, it’s only a matter a time before the powers that be disagree with us about which is the right way of doing something. More and more of us are realizing that “live and let live,” as long as actions taken don’t hurt other people, is the way to go.
Do you sometimes feel as though you don’t belong here, or do you struggle with even recognizing the world around you at times? If you can clearly see that things are not working, even if you don’t have solutions yet to offer, you’re on the right track. The higher your consciousness and your energetic frequency rise, the more clearly you can see that things need to change. More and more people are reaching that realization every day.
#6: “You create healing through intention.”
Healing is a process, and it is rarely finite, especially if it is based in emotional trauma. How many times have you thought you left trauma behind you, in the past, only to be triggered by something that brings it to the surface again? That’s normal! You don’t suddenly forget trauma, but you can tame it, so it doesn’t rule the rest of your life.
If you make a conscious choice to get better, then follow through with doing whatever it takes to make that happen, you heal. You don’t forget, but it doesn’t have to rule your life. It all starts with a choice to feel better.
#7: “Allow yourself to receive, so you can give in a more powerful way.”
For those of us who are used to doing for and taking care of others, it is often hard to ask for help when we need it, and it’s often uncomfortable and it’s often uncomfortable for us to receive, rather than to give, whether it’s time, effort, gifts, compliments, or anything else. I’m the one people often come to for help. To ask for help myself feels awkward and like an imposition, but that’s not balanced. Everyone needs help sometimes, and everyone should try to help others when they can. Giving and receiving go hand in hand.
When you don’t ask for help when you need it or accept the gifting of help and kindness from others, not only are you depriving yourself, but you deprive the would-be givers of how good it feels to be the giver. It creates an imbalance. So, enjoy giving, but also enjoy receiving.
What did you think? Pretty thought provoking, right? Definitely food for thought. The entire retreat was great, but you know what my favorite part was? It was hanging out with hundreds of people who were full of hope and kindness, who were eager to offer support, comfort, and help to everyone around them. It’s difficult to find a few people with that mindset, much less hundreds, and if you’re sensitive to energy, as I am, it’s a real shot in the arm! That’s what brought me back for a second time and what will bring me back again.
If you’re not familiar with Lee Harris, you can find him on YouTube and on his website, Lee Harris Energy, https://www.leeharrisenergy.com, he’s appeared on many podcasts, and he has several relaxing, meaningful albums available on Apple Music. I highly recommend the CD, Medicine Mantras and, well, pretty much anything he offers. His book, The Future Human is remarkable, as well.
This is the last Friday Night Meditation with the Archangels this month, with the theme being Building Bridges, which inspires us to rebuild relationships and begin to overcome the polarity and division that is so infused in the world these days. The new intention for September will be announced in my newsletter and next week’s article. If you haven’t signed up for my free newsletter, you can do so on my website, www.asktheangels222.com.
I hope your weekend is filled with joy, hope, love, and peace, and I hope you’ll take some time to ponder the above thoughts, as I will be doing.
Blessings, all.
