The Archangels Tell Us More About Ourselves

I’ve never felt truly alone.  Not as a child, not as an adult, and not as I faced hardships, including when I helped care for my father, who died of cancer, my mother, who died of Alzheimer’s, my husband, who died of Parkinson’s, or as I watched my sister succumb to the same disease that took our mother.  I didn’t feel alone as I endured a very unhappy first marriage or when I got a divorce and struggled to cover all the bases as a single mother.  I’ve never felt abandoned or angry at God or railed at the world or universe and asked “Why me/us?”

That’s not to say I didn’t struggle or wish for better days.  I wasn’t always a ray of sunshine, believing things would get better soon.  Sometimes I was bitchy, grouchy, and impatient with people around me, and I certainly didn’t always look on the bright side of things, although I tried to remember to count my blessings over my troubles.  I didn’t know the importance of self-care when I was going through all those hard times, as I do now, and my health suffered for it, and neither did I know or channel the Archangels during most of those times, but I always found a way to keep on going, and I always felt a loving presence in my heart.

I always thought it was God.  As a kid and young adult, I started out picturing God as the man with long white hair and a beard who watched over me.  I prayed to Him every night.  I felt an intense presence of love, always.  I remember when times were tough, I’d wonder how anyone made it through life without believing in God.

I still believe in God, although I no longer think of God as the male figure sitting on a throne in Heaven, looking down on what is happening on Earth and in my life.  I don’t really have a visual anymore, except maybe the Universe in general. I’m leaning towards thinking of God as a body of consciousness and creativity that’s the beginning and the eternity for all of us.  I’m still working on it, and I know I may never have a clear understanding of God, and that’s okay with me.  I still feel that presence in my heart, and I still feel Love coming from somewhere, and I feel connected to that Love.

Through the past several years, I’ve been on this spiritual path that has led me in all kinds of directions I hadn’t anticipated.  I’m a Reiki master, and I channel the Archangels and many other high Guides.  I share their messages with others through my writing, I offer spiritual guidance sessions, I’m producing a channeling class I’ll eventually offer on my website, and I’m writing a Q&A book with the Angels I hope to publish sometime later this year.  I never saw any of these things happening, and I’m still a little surprised at times at the turns my life has taken.

After I’d been channeling a while, I asked the Angels about that presence I’d always felt in my heart.  I told them I’d always thought it was God, but now I wondered if it had been them.  I’d also learned about other things along the way, and I thought maybe that feeling came from my Guardian Angel or other members of my spiritual team.  Could it be my soul?  How about the universal connection we all share with the Creator and all living things they’d spoken about?  To my surprise and consternation, they answered that it didn’t matter who or what it was.  The important thing was that I’d recognized that I was loved and that I was not alone.

Being human, I wanted a more definitive answer, but what I got was ambiguous and abstract.  However, the more I thought about it over the years, the more I realized they were right.  It really doesn’t matter.  I’ve come to believe that presence I’ve always felt is all of those things, because I’m part of all of those things, connected to all of it.  We all are.  I’m just lucky, because I felt that love and connection early in life, or perhaps that was part of the life plan my soul put into place before I incarnated.  Whatever the reason, I’m grateful.  Blessed.

I asked the Archangels to talk more about this presence we all have within us and why some of us feel it and others don’t, as well as how we can connect with it, and their response follows.

Question:  We’ve spoken a lot about the loving presence I’ve always felt in my heart and how my perception of it has changed through the years.  I know I’m not any more loved or favored than anyone else, so I’m assuming we all have this presence, so why do some people feel it, while others don’t?  Also, how can we strengthen that presence and tap into it?

Answer:

Many people believe the brain is the control center for the body, and they are right when it comes to the human aspects of being alive, including the physical, mental and emotional systems of a life.  However, the soul brings with it its own contributions, including the spiritual and energetic aspects, and it can combine and blend these things with the physical, mental, and emotional systems in place if the human being embraces this.  When this happens, the person becomes a more powerful, effective, well-rounded individual who can transcend all boundaries perceived by human beings.  It is the heart center that houses the soul, the higher consciousness, the divine spark of power, and the universal connection all human beings carry, and it is even more powerful than the brain, although its functions are not as concrete or as apparent, at least not initially.

Not everyone is aware of these options or these systems.  People have been conditioned to believe that they are separate from the divine, that they must earn a place to be close to the Creator, that their position is precarious and can be taken away from them if they do not do what they have been told, that there are rewards to be won and punishments to fear if they do not follow certain rules.  Because of this, they constantly seek whatever God they know or want to know, but they assume He/She/It/They are far away, out of reach unless they earn favor and prove their worthiness.  Even then, the goal to reach God is seen as something that might happen after this life is over.  Maybe.  If they are good enough.  If they jump through all the hoops, follow all the rules, and do what they are told.

Then, there are those who are frustrated with the entire concept of a higher being.  They decide whatever life holds must be dealt with alone.  Some feel dissatisfied, and some feel victimized, while others feel independent and capable, but none of them feel truly connected in the sense that they are parts of a greater whole.  They have convinced themselves that this is fine, and they do not need a higher connection.  They do not have anything greater than themselves to lean on or to look forward to, and they go about life as best they can, believing nothing follows the end of their lives.  They are limited to only what they can sense and what they think they know.

We do not offer these descriptions in judgment, much less condemnation.  They are simply observations.  People have always strived to make sense of things, and they must do so in their own way.  What works for one does not necessarily work for another.  Different people have different needs.  Some require more structure than others.  Some require what they consider to be irrefutable proof before they accept something as factual.  Some lean toward the concrete and disregard the abstract.  Some proceed with faith, rather than proof.  There is no right or wrong way, no better or worse path, except with regard to the individual.  This is why there will never be a single religion that all people embrace or one way of doing things that suits everyone.

Then, there are the seekers.  There have always been seekers, but their numbers, until relatively recently, have been few.  Because of the energetic changes on Earth, more people are questioning things they accepted in the past.  They may no longer feel true, and they begin to seek answers, often not really knowing the questions yet.  They only know that some things no longer feel comfortable.  It is human nature to find purpose and answers about life, and when old systems fall away, it is natural to seek new structure and community.  Right now on Earth, there is a mass exodus from formal religion taking place, and while many do not miss the religious structure, they often seek a new source of community that is difficult if not impossible to find right now.  This is another reason why unity is so important.  It is also a reason to embrace the inner universal connection you all have, so you do not feel alone.

Whether or not you are aware of it or can feel it, you all carry a divine spark of creation, part of the Creator, within you.  We would offer you a new reality and say that there has never been, nor will there ever be, a separation from the Creator.  As long as your soul resides within your body, the Creator resides there as well.  It is the soul that holds that spark.  We will further say that you do not have to do anything to earn the love and acceptance you may or may not seek from the Creator.  You already have it, and that love is unconditional.  You do not have to follow any rules, jump through any hoops, do whatever someone else tells you to do, and you do not have to wait until this life is over to be connected to whatever God you know, if you relate to a higher being at all.  You are already connected, just as you are connected to each other and all other living things of this world and of other worlds, because we all come from the same creative source.

We have further good news for you.  Nothing you do or do not do will affect the divine Love you have been given, and nothing will ever separate you from the Creator.  It is an impossibility.  Also, you should know that you, yourself are divine, since you come from the divine.  You are a divine being of Light.  Further, because of this divine connection and presence, you are never alone.  You have never been alone, and you will never be alone.  Many hope to earn everlasting life, and we wish to tell you that you already have it.  This temporary, physical life you are living now will surely come to an end someday, but your soul will continue to live on, outside this body.  Your soul was created with everlasting life already.  Again, no tests, no hoops, no rules to be passed or followed.

Full discloser, neither will you receive any special rewards after this life ends, because everything you seek and hope for, you already possess.  No heaven.  No hell.  No punishment, no condemnation for the things you did during your lifetime.  Everything you experience will add to knowledge and spiritual growth that brings you closer to full communion with the Creator.  The perceived mistakes you made will serve as learning and growth opportunities that your soul will integrate, and all experiences, whether pleasant or unpleasant, whether they taught you what you should or should not do, add to your spiritual growth, bringing you closer to full understanding and communion with the Creator.

If you wish to feel this divine connection you carry more keenly, there are several things you can do.  Start by directing your focus and intention to it.  Call out to your soul and ask it to become a more active part of your consciousness and guide you toward a spiritual path where you can seek and learn more about yourself.  There is no reason to carry around guilt, shame, and regret.  Ask for guidance that you may learn from everything you have and will experience in this life.  Embrace this divine spark within you, along with the healing and enlightening energy surrounding you at this time.  Open your mind to more.

Build your life around the four pillars of spirituality, joy, hope, love, and peace.  Base your decisions and choices around bringing more of these things into your life.  Also, kindness is a shortcut to spiritual growth.  First, be kind to yourself and patient with yourself as you try out new paths and seek new answers.  Make yourself the priority for kindness, then offer it to others.  Try not to judge and condemn other people, for they, like you, are struggling to make sense of things.  Nearly everyone on the planet is doing the best that they can do within whatever circumstances and situations they find themselves.

Release long held anger by focusing on compassion.  Release fear by focusing on hope.  Escape the chaos around you in the world by creating your own world full of joy, hope, love, and peace.  Reject the idea that you are small and powerless, and start seeking out your power, for it has always been there.  Stop giving it away by believing and doing the things you are told.  Open your mind and your heart to new possibilities, and trust your intuition.  Remember that all people are loved unconditionally, even those who are behind the chaos in the world.  They play a role, just as you do.  Avoid them or stop them, but do not hate, condemn, and persecute them.  Be aware that there are things you do not know, cannot see, and trust that there is a bigger plan in place, and that everyone contributes to it in one way or another.

Do not try to exert control over other people.  Your job while on Earth is not to judge or punish, but to accept and grow.  The need to force and control other people is why the world is in the chaotic state it is currently experiencing.  Focus instead on improving yourself and knowing and understanding yourself better.  Do not try to force your views on other people.  Instead, make sure your views still fit you, and you are at peace with the life you have created for yourself.  If your life is not satisfying and fulfilling, change it.  It is not your place to create someone else’s life, any more than it is someone else’s place to create yours.

This is a time for self-discovery.  Follow your heart and your dreams, and know that you are not alone.  Know that you are loved unconditionally.  Know that this life is temporary, that your real home awaits you and will someday welcome you back, so you can review what you have experienced and learned during this lifetime and possibly plan another.  The lessons and experiences you have had will be added to those your soul already has experienced, and you will continue to live forever.  As crazy as these times seem right now, they can also be beautiful and rewarding as you stretch, reach for, and learn about more of who you are.  We are here to help you do that.  You are not alone.

Final Thoughts

Feeling that presence that has always been there is a blessing and part of my life plan.  My views and beliefs have changed a lot through the years, and I continue to grow and change with time and through self-discovery.  Sometimes, I wish the Angels would just sit me down and spell it out for me, so my curiosity would be appeased, and I’d have a better understanding of how things work, but then again, no.  The discovery process, as frustrating as it can sometimes be, is the fun part.  Asking the question is easier than finding the answer, but finding the answer serves as the reward.

This is the last Friday in February.  If you feel called to join us for Friday Night meditation, the intention for this month is personal Sovereignty.  Just call out to the Archangels from wherever you are, at whatever time you’re available, and offer your loving energy to them.  They’ll gather it, add to it, and disperse it to wherever and whomever needs it the most.  There will be a new intention for Friday nights revealed in the newsletter next Friday for the month of March in the Angels’ monthly message.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, full of joy, hope, love, and peace.  If you feel called, focus on your heart center and reach out to your soul or to the Archangels to help you begin a path of self-discovery and begin to develop and feel that divine link you already carry.  It may feel strange at first, but it is so worth it once you begin to understand yourself better.  It means never feeling alone or out of place, because you know you are accepted and loved unconditionally.

Blessings, all.
