"I Am Your Brother and Your Friend."

My friends, my brothers and sisters, I ask that you open your hearts and minds as you read these words. Whether or not you know me or worship me, this message is for you, and it is one of unending, unconditional Love. I do not pick and choose among you who to cherish and serve. I love all of you, and I wish to serve and spend time with all of you. You do not have to be religious, you do not have to worship, you do not have to serve me or bow down to me in any way. I will gladly meet you wherever you are in your life’s journey, and religion does not have to be part of the conversation, unless it is something you wish to explore. I favor all of you, not just certain ones of you or certain groups. Regardless of race, religion, culture, language, background, beliefs, sexual identity, lifestyle, gender, or anything else, I welcome you and wish to be a part of your life if you will allow it. There are no prerequisites required. There is no screening process. There are no requirements or debts that you will ever owe me. I only wish to know you and for you to know me, and for us to spend time together, if it is what you wish.
This religious holiday, while loving on the part of many and appreciated, was not my goal or part of my vision when I walked the Earth. I did not go to the Earth to become a god, to be worshipped, to start a new religion, or to become famous. I came for essentially two reasons: to teach and to correct errors in interpretation regarding life and how it should be lived. I came in hopes of helping all people, although my focus was on the people of that time and region, but my hope was to affect all people at that time and in the future by showing them a better, more loving way to live. My hope was to provide instruction that was universal and would affect all people, not only those of my religion, as the most important and crucial concepts I spoke to were universal and immune to time and place. The message was far more important and powerful than I was.
There were many mistaken beliefs at that time surrounding religion. It was believed that the most powerful people of the day were blessed and loved by God, while the poor, diseased, and persecuted were shunned by the same God. That was incorrect, for God loved and loves all people and created them all. God does not favor, shun, punish, or reward some over others. The gift of free will which was given to mankind can affect life in many ways and the effects of it can include all of those things. It is mankind who practices and affects those things, rather than God. God does not control people. People control or choose not to control yourselves.
When I was on Earth, force, control, dominance, and strength were favored and sought, and few people saw the benefits of traits such as compassion, mercy, forgiveness, gentleness, love, and charity. Few could see the value or the strength in these gentler aspects of life, and there are still those who cannot see the benefits in pursuing and practicing these things. Equality, did not exist and is still elusive today. There are still those who think there is only one right way to do things, that controlling others is acceptable, that righteousness is connected to power, and that a select few should dominate and dictate to the masses. These things are still very prevalent today on Earth, and they are still wrong.
I knew when I was alive that I could not change the way things were done. I did not have nor did I want that kind of power. What good would it have been to force people to do things my way? How would that have been different from what the Romans and other warrior nations had done up to that point, or the leaders of religion who told people how they had to live and punished those who did not do what they said? That is not the way, at least not if you want permanent change, which was the goal. I knew the most I could do was plant the seeds and point the way toward those conceived to be lesser traits of love, kindness, forgiveness, mercy, and the like. In that I was partially successful, because my words and lessons are still shared, but as predicted, it was not yet the right time to apply those things in a widespread, far reaching, long lasting practice.
The time for lasting change is now. Yes, the world is a mess and is very chaotic, but it is headed for a time of reckoning, not for mankind as was foretold by many, but for the way things are being done on Earth. The time for all those things leftover from my own days on Earth – the abuse and persecution of others, the control over others, the few ruling the many, the forcing of others into compliance, the one size fits all approach to life – has run its course and must end. Do not use me as an example or excuse to perpetuate these things. I do not want people to be forced to know, serve, or worship me. There are other ways to live that are just as good and that serve some people better. There is no competition among the Masters. We are all on the side of mankind and love and accept all people. Many believe I will come to judge, but as always, I come to love and teach. I will turn no one away. I will condemn not one person. That was never my intent, and that will not change.
There is no need to fear me. There is no need to fear the Creator of all of us. It is time to quit fearing each other and work together to build a better world that welcomes and accepts all people, that supports personal choices in all things that do not adversely affect others. It is time to spread and exchange love and unity, rather than trying to control others and force your ways onto others. Those who wish to overpower others, who persecute others, who believe they are favored and entitled, do not know or serve me. While fear can be used as a powerful motivator, it is not effective in the long term, and it is not my way. Further, it is not needed. When people are loved and accepted and treated fairly, they will nearly always treat others in the same way. When people feel safe and valued, they will do their part to live in a way that perpetuates that kind of life. People who know me, understand me, and follow my teachings, do not want to harm or control or force others. They do not persecute others. They do not judge and condemn others, for I have no desire to do those things. That is not the example I set, even as I suffered and died.
As you remember my life and death, if you wish to honor me, then be kind and accepting of others. Show love, mercy, and compassion to others. Relinquish the need to control and overpower others. If they believe differently than you, accept their right to do so and wish them well. Live the life you believe is righteous, and allow others to do the same without trying to force them to do things differently. While your way may be right for you, it is not necessarily right for everyone else. If you believe I will come to judge them, then turn that responsibility over to me, and do not try to take it over by condemning others for being different. Judging and controlling others is not your job or your place. If you love me and know that I love you, then love others, also, and do not cause anyone harm, especially in my name.
Many people do not understand me or my message or my teachings, but I tell you that whenever kindness is shown, I am appreciative and joyful for it. Know that when people suffer, especially at the hands of other people, I also suffer, and when harm to others is done in my name, I am filled with pain much greater than that which was visited upon me when I was on Earth. If you use my name, use it in peace and in love for others. Although I do not require you to worship me or ask you to serve me, whenever you serve others, I also am served.
I love you more than you know or can fathom. You are worthy and valued, and I love every one of you, whether or not you love me. I would be happy to be part of your life if this is something you would like. Call me in quiet moments, in times of prayer and meditation, in times of suffering and fear, as well as in times of joy and hope and gratitude, for I would treasure being a part of all of these things in your life. I am your friend and your brother. I am your servant, your confidant, your advocate, your guide. I am all these things and anything else you need, and I accept you as you are, wherever you are. I am here for you when you are ready.
