(Commentary on an Article Written in November, 2022)

*I found this article, which I wrote almost three years ago, about The Shift and how it was affecting people at the time. As I reread it, I considered the changes that have taken place since then, and I thought it would be interesting to add to it, commenting and updating on changes in my observations, my understanding, and the progress being made in the world. It’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that nothing much has changed lately, especially on the positive side, but that’s just not true. Although we don’t often hear about the good things, they’re there, and they’re multiplying. They’re also being kept on the down low, because those in power promote fear and anger, rather than hope and compassion, because that’s what helps keeps them in power. I’ve updated, added and commented on each section, shown in italics, and I’m determined to spite those who want to keep me down and make me afraid, angry, and hopeless. I’m in charge of my emotions, not them. Let’s spite them together!
I’ve written articles in the past about The Shift of the Earth into the fifth dimension and what that means, and I’ve also stated that most people have not caught up yet. That’s still true, but more and more people are rising to the occasion (pun intended) all the time. So, how do you know if you’re on the right path? Let’s talk about that.
*Not only are more and more people “rising to the occasion,” but it’s happening at a much fast rate, in greater numbers all the time. In order to blend comfortably within the new higher vibration on Earth, people need to heal from past trauma, and there are many high Guides and Angels helping with that. Every week on Substack, I introduce a new high Guide who wants to help people make progress. Recently, I wrote about the Blue Beings, who specialize on helping people heal. Call on them for help, and they will assuredly assist you with your healing. Many people are still having a lot of flashbacks to past trauma as a reminder to deal with it and heal from it, so they can move forward and embrace new 5D energies.
My friend, Don Wright, The Ancient One, who writes on Medium, gives regular updates on the level of the collective consciousness, and it has risen significantly and continues to rise. I can feel the difference in the collective energy. There are still fear and anger present, but love and hope are replacing them, slowly but surely. People everywhere feel the energy of 5D. For those who embrace it, they can heal faster and find joy, hope, love, and peace more easily and quicker than ever before. For those who resist it, they will continue to feel more and more uncomfortable due to the energy clash between their vibration and the vibration that surrounds them. There is no escaping this new, higher energy.
Subtlety is the Name of the Game
First of all, I think a lot of us, including me at one time, think of spiritual changes coming with the bugling of trumpets and a booming voice announcing that you have changed. Maybe that happens to some people, but I’ve never had or heard of such an exclamation. For most people, changes are very subtle, to the point that we don’t even notice them until something brings them into focus.
When I first started channeling the Archangels, it took me a moment to realize the voice I heard in my head wasn’t mine. It was a quiet answer to a question I was pondering, and I realized that I didn’t have the knowledge to arrive at the answer I’d received. I think this is true for most people. We don’t realize we’ve changed until something prompts us to realize it. So, if you’re waiting for trumpets and the booming voice, you may miss what’s going on inside your consciousness.
*I’m not saying there are now trumpets and booming voices, but changes are becoming less subtle, to be sure. More and more psychic gifts are emerging, if the number of emails and comments I receive are any gauge. People are recognizing the divine guidance they are receiving more than ever before, and they are beginning to trust and pursue it in many cases.
Many people are developing a closer relationship with their soul through trusting their intuition, which is usually a one-way channeling of information, the person being the receiver, and the Guide or soul being the sender, and many are beginning to discover ways to shift into two-way communication, so they can direct a conversation and ask questions. That’s what happened to me years ago. Once I realized I was receiving information, I learned how to direct and participate in it.
You can start this through meditation or simply by writing down a question to your soul and asking it to tell you what you need to know, then writing down all thoughts that go through your mind. Some people use pendulums or Tarot cards. Others have dreams that provide guidance and information. Different things work for different people, but more people are not only pursuing this kind of thing, but making break-throughs.
Examples of Subtle Changes
As you go about living your life, you may not realize changes taking place in how you perceive things. You think differently, you notice things you never did before, and your belief system begins to change.
In my case, I started to question religious teachings I’d grown up with and decided they just didn’t make sense anymore. I also noticed more people in an accepting way. Whereas I might have stayed silent or overlooked or felt that I couldn’t affect someone’s discomfort in the past, I reached out more to them and offered comfort, kindness, and acceptance.
My priorities changed. I realized the concept of being in control for the illusion it is. On the other hand, I realized I had more choices in how I processed and dealt with things, especially in considering and choosing emotional responses. I learned to discard anger and fear and replace it with love and compassion. Speaking of fear, it became more of a distant memory, rather than the lens with which I addressed everything. I no longer play the “what if” game or assume the worst is going to happen. It’s not that I’m never afraid anymore; rather, I choose to discard the fear and refuse to be ruled by it.
Also, when we begin to embrace the fifth dimension paradigm, many of us feel a strong desire to help other people, whether or not we know how we’re going to do that. We just want to, and it’s important to find a way. Along with that comes a belief, however small in the beginning, that we can make a difference in the world and those around us, that we have something to offer. Maybe it starts in the work place. Maybe it begins at home or in how you perceive yourself. As you ascend to fifth dimensional thinking, you begin to see your own worth.
*Many high Guides have shared with me that they stand ready to help us pursue our dreams and make them realities. The Angels have said that when endeavors are heart-centered, meaning they take into consideration how others can benefit from them, they are far more likely to succeed in the future than projects that harm or disregard others. They tell me the future businesses that will thrive on Earth are those who place the importance of people above the importance of the bottom line, and when that happens, the bottom line will soar along with those involved in the business, rather than leaving them behind or replacing them with others who do what they’re told without question. The future business world will be people-centered, both in regard to employees and customers.
Insofar as changes in the way we see things in general, this is happening on personal as well as collective levels. Things people have done all their lives are often beginning to not make sense anymore, whether in regard to religion, social practices, values, beliefs, or priorities, and they are causing them to question the status quo, see that many things are not viable, if they ever were, and they are discarding old beliefs and practices in favor of different options that bring them more peace of mind and joy.
People are recognizing more often the ploys intended to manipulate them, as well as questioning the propaganda and whether or not what they are being told is true or being exaggerated and fabricated. These changes don’t happen overnight, but they’ve begun everywhere. Not everyone has embraced change, but people all over the world are beginning to question things more and seek new answers. The best thing you can do to facilitate this is to question and adjust your own priorities and goals to reflect what will bring in more joy, hope, love, and peace.
While it’s true bigotry has come out of the closet again, it’s still unacceptable, and groups of people who persist in trying to further it are being exiled as the villains they portray. They are losing ground and power. Religious groups who attack and persecute smaller groups are being rejected and called out and are losing support and fellowship. People are beginning to unite to preserve personal freedom and rights of others. The treatment of undocumented immigrants has garnered a far reaching outcry from people everywhere. Yes, there are still seemingly heartless supporters, but they are not well received by the majority. The idea of achieving a goal, regardless of the fallout, is falling out of favor. Humane treatment of all people is on the rise.
Your Perceptions of the World Around You Begin to Change
Once you embrace fifth dimension thinking, you begin to not only become more aware of your surroundings, but you begin to notice more positive aspects. That’s not to say you’re not aware of all the bad things still happening in the world, but you begin to notice that people are beginning to take notice of some of the wrongs, and realizing they’re not acceptable. This starts at an individual level and grows into a collective outlook. There has been racial inequality in the world forever, but more and more people are taking action to put it in the past. The same can be said for sexual inequalities.
Whether or not you support or are impressed with the Black Lives Matter and Me Too movements, you have to admit that, although the problems have consistently existed, the cries of injustice are relatively new. That’s progress! The more awareness there is, the more growth of individual and collective change.
People who want to overpower and control others they’ve decided are beneath them are beginning to be called out on their beliefs and actions. Bullies are losing ground and support. Racists are being held accountable for their actions more and more. Men who have coerced women for sexual favors are being prosecuted. Yes, we still have a long way to go, but we’ve begun the journey.
*You don’t hear much about the Black Lives Matter or Me Too movements these days, but at least some of the policemen who participated in actions that resulted in innocent Black lives being lost are serving prison sentences. Although many were disappointed in the recent verdict of Sean “Diddy” Combs, he was at least tried and found guilty on some counts and, unless the current administration pardons him – which I think would provoke a huge outcry – he’s likely to be sentenced to some prison time, as was Harvey Weinstein. Then, there’s the huge backlash regarding the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case and the information attached to it. If Ghislain Maxwell is pardoned, I believe that will also induce a huge, public outcry. Whether or not true justice is served, these are all examples of terrible situations that have provoked unity in the people, demanding accountability, and it’s unity that will change the world.
There is more awareness of what needs to change, and there are signs of unity, even amidst the continuing polarity that exists. This is happening worldwide. The citizens in Israel and Palestine are uniting against the policies and practices of their respective governments and demanding change in their countries, even to the point of risking their own lives in some cases. European countries are becoming more involved and stepping up in the absence of old allies to try to help the Ukrainians. Old alliances are shattering, and others are replacing them.
I find the movement to erase the trans- community and restrict their and their family’s rights, along with movements to backtrack on gay marital rights concerning, but again, these tragic attempts to control other people are also inspiring unity, as did the reversal of Roe v Wade. Research tells us the majority of people are against these things, but it will take people standing together in defense of others for the majority opinion to rule these outcomes, and I believe that will eventually happen.
A Change in Your Reactions
Another sign that you’re changing is how you react to things. I used to get so mad at stupid things like being cut off in traffic or someone being rude or condescending. Something so small used to adversely affect me for hours if not days. Stuff like that is miniscule in the grand scheme of things, but I had to make the choice of dismissing these things as not worthy of my attention, much less my peace of mind.
It took some time, and I still find myself reacting on occasion, but the difference is, it doesn’t feel right or normal anymore. I don’t feel justified in my anger, because I realize that, not only is it trivial, but I have no idea what kind of day or life the person who aggravated me has had. For all I know, they’re struggling with serious issues that have affected their actions. The bottom line is, whatever provoked their actions, they don’t have the kind of peace I have in my life now. If they did, they wouldn’t behave that way.
I rarely judge or argue with anyone anymore. Not only do I feel confident in myself and my beliefs and have no need to prove my point, but disturbing someone else for whatever reason also disturbs me, and any negative reactions I have bother me much more than the person who triggered them. I respect others’ points of view and their right to hold them. I know that there’s no one way that works for everyone, and everyone must find what feels right for them. That is a fundamental right we all have. When you feel more tolerance and acceptance for others and their differences, it signifies an adjustment of thinking that belongs and dominates the fifth dimension.
*Looking back, when I first became aware of The Shift, I was doing what the Angels say we needed to do. I was working on myself and bringing in more joy, hope, love, and peace initially, and I was healing from past trauma, so I could move forward and become more actively involved in helping others and The Shift later on, when I was in a stronger, more Spiritual point in in my life.
I have learned to covet and guard my peace of mind, because it’s priceless. I don’t watch, listen to, or read the news very often anymore. I’ll read the headlines, just to keep up on the latest, but I rarely access the articles. If you notice, you’ll find that many of the headlines are conjecture, prediction, and opinion, discussing what might happen, likely consequences, and possibilities. That’s building a story based on very few facts, but then again, media is much more focused on opinion than it is on factual information these days, and they seem to all have their own agendas. No thanks. I still avoid the what-if game, and I prefer to form my own opinions, rather than go along with whatever I’m told. It’s just hard to find truth and factual information you can trust these days.
I work hard to process and release anger, and I’ve gotten pretty good at that, but I still catch myself judging others from time to time. I try to remember that everyone is in a different place, set of circumstances, and has their own path to follow. It helps, but I’m far from perfect. I know better than to argue with closed-minded people, but I’m still tempted into it occasionally, especially politicians and religious extremists who try to justify their behavior with scripture, as if their limited views and interpretations should be proof for everyone that they’re in the right. I’m a work in progress, as we all are.
A Change in Overall Feelings
Other fifth dimensional outlooks include an overall sense of peace and a growing sense of hope. You begin to believe that things are not as hopeless as the media portrays them, that there are still a lot of goodness and good people in the world. You begin to look for the positive side of things, and when negativity comes for you, you begin to learn how to center yourself in your heart to find the calm that resides within you, regardless of what surrounds you at any given time.
Many feel a new appreciation of nature and find tranquility there in a way they haven’t been able to do in the past. A sense of connectedness begins to take shape. You begin to realize that we are all connected to each other and to the planet on which we live. What affects one affects all, and you begin to care more about that connectivity than for just yourself and your small corner of the world.
*While I do think the sense of universal connection has grown significantly since I wrote this article, I also believe that the peace and sense of hope I spoke of took a major nosedive this year, at least for a while. I think it’s gaining ground again, but I think we have to work a lot harder for these things, which is why the Archangels are always after us to bring in more joy, hope, love, and peace to our lives. Honestly, if we don’t constantly work at this, these chaotic times in the world around us can overwhelm us very quickly.
It’s realizing that, although we have many good, justified reasons to be angry and fearful, it’s actively choosing to release those negative emotions in favor of the more elusive and promising emotions that will get us through these times. When we’re able to do this, not only is it good for us, but it’s helpful to the collective energy and weakens the leftover 3D energy. It takes commitment and determination, and it takes a concerted effort, complete with whatever actions go with it, to stay stable and remain positive. It also takes patience, because things improve slowly, and most of the positive things happening never hit our radar. I do still believe there are more “good” than “bad” people in the world, although I reject those categories. We’re all doing the best we can.
Final Thoughts
These are all signs to look for and to strive toward. Try to be aware of how you and your thoughts, reactions, and priorities begin to change. If you recognize any of these things beginning to occur in your life, you’re on the right track. If not, you can make a conscious effort to make them part of your life. It doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time and effort on your part, but the new outlook and paradigm these changes lead to is so absolutely worth it.
Consider also that these changes begin on an individual basis but spread to affect the collective consciousness on Earth, and once that happens, changes begin to happen on a greater scale, until the entire world is affected. To coin a popular phrase, be the change you want to see in the world. Actively seek to make a difference. Take a stand for something you believe in, and help make it happen.
*For me, this article reflected a certain naivete. It was written at a time that was, at least for me, less difficult and appeared more outwardly positive. Things are still positive, but they’re harder to see, not by accident. Powerful people want us to be afraid and feel weak and in need of their intervention. They don’t want us to discover our own power, much less unite for change, and they’re working very hard against us.
I do believe things are changing for the better, but it’s become very apparent that we’re going to go through some more hard times, before clear, obvious progress is made. Right now, it’s imperative that we work on ourselves and learn to stand in our sovereignty, so we can eventually unite and affect positive, needed, sustainable change. We’ve got a long way to go, but we are making progress.
Many blessings to all of you.
*And again, many blessings to you!
