A Christmas Message from Jesus

What is the Best Way to Honor Jesus's Birth?

I grew up loving Christmas and still do, but in a different way.  It’s a little weird, if you want to know the truth, because I no longer consider myself a Christian, although I dearly love and follow the teachings of Jesus, who I call Yeshua.  If you know my work, you know I’m a channel for the Archangels and many other High Guides.  This includes Yeshua, His Mother, and many others.

Yes, I speak to Yeshua, and He speaks to me.  He is the most loving being I have ever encountered and so easy to be around, because he greets and welcomes everyone without reservation, and He meets you wherever you are on your spiritual journey.  He doesn’t care if you’re a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, or whatever other labels and categories so many of us entertain.  He loves us all.

Christmas has become more of a family celebration, rather than a religious one.  Do I celebrate the birth of Yeshua?  Sure, I do.  I love Him, so I’m glad He was born.  Am I grateful to Him?  Absolutely.  He led a selfless life which He knew would end in painful persecution.  You’ll never hear me criticize Him or suggest that He wasn’t here, although I don’t necessarily agree with everything the Bible says about Him or how people interpret His message, which to me, is one of love.

So, why don’t I worship Him?  Why don’t I practice Christianity, the religion founded for Him thousands of years ago anymore?  Mostly, because a good bit of Christianity and a great number of self-described Christians do not follow His teachings.  No, this isn’t a Christian/Christianity bashing fest.  I know many Christians who are beautiful people, who try to follow Yeshua’s teachings, who often reshape their religion, at least in their own minds, to reflect those teachings.  I could go on and on about why I left religion behind, explaining my view of how people have distorted Yeshua’s teachings and legacy, but I think I’ll let Him talk about it, instead.  I asked Yeshua how He felt about Christmas and Christianity, and His answer follows.

Question:  Yeshua, if it’s appropriate, Happy Birthday, and Merry Christmas!  Having said that, would you please address how you feel about this holiday that celebrates your birth, and share your thoughts on Christianity?

Answer:

My sister, my friend, and all who read this, it is an honor to address you and shed some light on these things.  It is with a certain authority I speak to you about my birth and my time on Earth and the religion that sets out to celebrate my life.  After all, I was there!  My heart warms at the love devoted to me, and I am grateful to all who follow me and my teachings.  Please believe me when I tell you I take nothing away from you or the gratitude I feel for you when I say that I love all people on Earth deeply, whether or not they know or worship me.  In truth, I do not require anything from you, not worship, not belief, and certainly not the persecution of others in my name.  I came to Earth to teach, not to start a religion.

There were several things I wanted to address while I was there, and you can identify most of them through my teachings.  My priorities were to offer love and acceptance to all I came into contact with, whether or not they were religious, accepted by society, or followed the religion of the time.  I also wished to redirect some of the practices of that time, including the idea that there was a chosen, favored people.  God, the Creator, chooses all people.  We were all created by the same being, and so we are all connected through that being.  Also, the belief at the time was that if a man was wealthy and successful, he was favored by God, and if a man was poor, cast out, or diseased, he was being punished by God for some imagined or designated sin of his own or of his ancestors. This was no more true then than it is now.

There was much injustice in the world then, as there is today.  The mistreatment of people comes from men, not God.  The idea that God is angry, wrathful, judgmental, jealous, and vengeful came from the men who organized what is now known as the Bible.  These are human traits assigned to God, and God is not human.  This is not true.  There is no need to fear God, however you relate to Him/Her/It.  God is Love.  You were all created in Love, and you were all gifted with immortal souls and the choice to incarnate and learn as well as being gifted with free will.  Your lives are planned by your souls, but you always have a choice of the direction in which to go.

For those people who are inspired to live lives of kindness toward others, to help who, when, and where you can, to make a positive difference in the world, I thank you and welcome you, regardless of your religion.  I care much more about how you treat others than of what you believe about me.  I am honored when you are inspired by me and saddened when you believe persecuting and turning away others is what I would ever want.  Whether or not you worship me is immaterial in comparison to how you treat others.

When I walked the Earth, I did not seek the easy road.  My soul planned a difficult life in many ways, because it served a purpose.  I could have chosen differently, but instead, I chose a life of service and tried to do what I could to redirect the wrongs being practiced in the world.  I knew it would lead to my death, and it was a price I was willing to pay.  I only wished it would have accomplished more than it ultimately did.

To set the record straight, I am not against anyone.  I do not favor, nor do I ever turn from any person, regardless of who they are, what they have done, or how they have lived their life.  I offer Love, kindness, forgiveness, acceptance to any and all who come to me.  I do not judge or condemn anyone.  I neither punish nor reward based on the lives you live on Earth.  I offer solace, comfort, peace, and friendship to all who come to me.  You neither owe me anything nor do you have to worship and serve me.  Instead, give all of your love and kindness and acceptance to the other people around you.  That would be the greatest Christmas or birthday gift I could ever receive.

I am a divine being of Light, created by God.  So are you.  I am loved unconditionally by God and all divine beings.  So are you.  We are connected and share a bond through our Creator.  By serving and helping others, you serve and help me and the Creator.  When you persecute and mistreat others, you work against us.  This is not what we want, no matter the reason.

Rather than wanting you to serve me, I would prefer to serve you.  If you seek me, you will find me, and when you find me, there will be no judgment, no condemnation, no demands, no prerequisites to me spending time with you.  There will only be Love.  I am here for all of you, no matter who you are, who you worship, how or where you live, or what you believe.  While I am grateful to those who love me, my Love is not limited to them only.  My Love knows no bounds, and it has no favorites.  It is unconditional, undemanding, and all-encompassing.  There are no limits to it.

If you truly wish to worship me, follow this guidance:  Love, accept, and be kind to all others.  If you celebrate me at Christmas, I thank you, and I love you.  If you do not, I still welcome you, and I also love you.  I am happy to spend time with any and all of you.  On Christmas and on every day, you honor me when you honor each other.

Final Thoughts

Yeshua is love.  Period and full stop.  I left Christianity, because I couldn’t reconcile Yeshua and His teachings with the idea that only Christians would be saved, and the rest of humanity – we’re talking two thirds of the world’s population which amounts to billions of people – would be condemned to eternal hell, because they didn’t know or worship Him.  I still love Christmas, though, and I still celebrate the birth of Yeshua.  Where He is concerned, there is always much to celebrate, and the best thing about Yeshua is He welcomes everyone to the celebration.

Blessings, all, and Merry Christmas.
