How Long Will Change Take?

The Archangels Tell Us What to Do

I started out channeling what I’d intended to be an update on The Shift, as I do about every three months or so, but as often happens, the topic kind of morphed.  I’ll try again for an update later, probably next week, but for now, the Archangels wanted to address the emotional upheaval we’re experiencing.  After channeling, I changed the question to reflect the answer, as follows.

Question:  Good morning.  Many people are restless, scared, angry and bitter these days.  Can you please explain how these feelings and the actions fueled by them affect The Shift?

Answer:

We know many are afraid and worried about many things on Earth, including wars, the political climate, and the push for more control over the people by those in power.  It is always alright, and in fact necessary, to recognize and feel your emotions, but getting stuck in too much emotion and refusing to relinquish it is not good for you or for what you hope to accomplish.

Let us begin with the current push to gain more control over others.  This is nothing new.  There have always been those in power who got there by controlling others and who have stayed in power by instigating more and more division, spreading lies and misinformation, and by manipulating and aggravating people’s emotions.  The difference today is that these methods are losing their effectiveness – a byproduct of The Shift – and the people who have always controlled things throughout the world have noticed this.  They are doing everything in their power to widen the gap between the masses, because they conquer you through division.

As the people in power try to strengthen their positions and expand their control, there are basically two reactions.  The first is based in fear, and in the beginning, these fearful people will be followers and supporters of the current, newest measures.  They believe the lies and propaganda those in power project, and they target the scapegoats that have been provided for them.

They see the persecution, restrictions, and actions taken against the scapegoats as positive initially, because they have been convinced that when they have been ridden of them, their lives will be better, and the threats to them will be gone.  What they fail to see is that the very power and control being exercised over others will eventually be turned against them.  They do not recognize this hidden threat, and many will not recognize it until they are adversely affected.  Then, they will begin to see things more clearly.  The damage will become undeniable when they suffer along with others.

The other reaction is outrage.  This side recognizes the threat sooner, and they object to what is happening and often see through the lies and propaganda.  Where fear is at the base of the first group, anger is the foundation of this other side, but anger is no more of a strength than fear is.  They are both weaknesses when overindulged, and both hinder progress.

While the angry people rightly object to what is happening, they are at risk of allowing their anger to justify widening the already wide gap existing between the masses, and we tell you this:  As long as there is substantial polarity among the people, change will not happen.  The anger may be justified, but it is not productive, and it will not lead to solutions.  For change to happen, there must be unity, and the people must stop fighting against each other, and instead join forces.

If half of the people in the world discovered and designed viable solutions for the problems faced by humanity, it would not matter how excellent these solutions were or how many problems they solved if the other half of the population refused to support them, regardless of whether or not their politicians were elected.

If you are part of a movement that believes they know a better way to proceed, even if irrefutable proof is on your side, you must find a way to convince a super majority of the population to cooperate.  You cannot do this by holding on to your animosity.  Who will listen with an open mind to anyone who thinks they are stupid, selfish, ignorant, and self-centered, much less some of the other stereotypes being passed around?

As more chaos ensues and more harm is done by powerful people who intend to control the world, there will be a window of opportunity, which if missed, will prolong the overall suffering of everyone.  As more fear driven people become aware that the people they trusted to improve their lives and circumstances are, in fact, charlatans, they will begin, still locked in their fear, to try to find a way out.

If they are met with anger and disdain, their fear will provoke them to stay the current course, because they will feel unwelcomed, and the fear of the unknown will be too much for them to overcome.  If, however, they are met with a desire for understanding and an opportunity to voice their concerns and be heard, there is a chance they can be won over to support a better way forward, especially if they are offered non-judgmental guidance to help them learn a new way of doing things.

Regardless of which side is reflected in politics, needed and sustainable change will not be accomplished as long the masses are so divided.  The current trends in politics throughout much of the world, are not sustainable.  People in power will continue to push for more control and to maintain and increase their power, but unless there is a super majority among the masses that supports these measures, their changes will not stand.  If things become so bad that a change in leadership reflecting the opposite political side takes place, those changes made by the new power will not be sustainable either, without a super majority to support them.  Currently, the world is caught in a back and forth motion, like a see-saw, which does little more than waste time and cause more harm.  There is constant motion, but no ground is gained.

Right now, the masses are locked in battle with each other, and as time has shown, this is not productive.  Neither is it accidental.  Those in power continue to encourage the polarity among the masses, because if you are fighting each other, you cannot challenge them.  They are not concerned with the long-term effects on others.  They are focused on short-term gains for themselves.

As long as you hold on to your fear and anger against each other and the world around you, progress will not be made.  Changes will not take place, at least not sustainable changes.  There are people and will be more people who can lead the world into being a better place, who can offer and implement sustainable change, but they cannot fulfill this purpose until the people unite and support them.

What is in your favor, all of your favor, is the energy connected with.  It supports neither fear nor anger, and that is why fearful and angry people are so unhappy and uncomfortable.  And this is why we so often reinforce self-care and focusing on building your life around the Big 4, joy, hope, love, and peace.  If you want to release your fear and your anger, you can, as the energy does not support them, and we will help you if you ask us, but you must make the effort and have the desire to do so.

Stop clinging to fear and anger if you want the world to change and if you want your life to be better.  If you see people’s actions as mistakes, hope that they can eventually find a better way, rather than wishing for them to suffer from those mistakes.  If you see them suffer for their choices, rather than rejoicing in their suffering, rejoice that they may see the errors made and hope they can find a better way.  Send them loving energy to help make this happen.  Energies of anger and resentment and self-righteousness will not help them do that, and it will not help you, either.

If you hold on to your bitterness against them, you are helping their leaders and hurting the chances for change and correction in the world.  Is that really worth this self-indulgence, or would you rather find sustainable solutions to the problems you face?  We hear many of you say “they” who supported the people who are causing so much chaos, will never change, but you do not know that.  You have closed your mind to them and given up on finding solutions and change, because you are as trapped in your anger as they are in their fear.

Do not worry about them or trying to change them.  Worry about and focus on yourself.  Focus on the Big 4, so that when that window of opportunity arises, you can greet the fearful, disillusioned people who begin to see that they were fooled or mistaken with compassion and hope, rather than anger and bitterness.  That is when you have the greatest chance to dissuade them from supporting their past choices, to at least consider other options.  That is when unity can build and eventually thrive.  They will not consider opening their minds to the truth or to new possibilities if they know they will be blamed and chastised.  Would you?

There is nothing wrong with being angry or fearful, but if you remain in anger and in fear, you will suffer, and so will your causes.  No one wants to join an angry or fearful group of people, and no one is likely to listen to anything or anyone if they are being accused and blamed for their own problems.  You must decide what you want more, to indulge in your fear and anger, knowing that you will sacrifice the Big 4, or relinquish your fear and anger and find hope and compassion, so you can join with others and work toward change.  You cannot have it both ways.

So, focus on healing yourself and overcoming these hindering emotions.  Work on your own joy, hope, love, and peace, and it will help others do the same thing.  When enough of you do this, a super majority among the masses will begin to form, and the leadership you need to promote positive, sustainable change will appear, and you will ensure that the world becomes a better place.

We have told you what needs to happen and what will happen.  How much time it takes will depend on how long the masses hold on to their fear and anger neither of which is supported by the Earth’s energy anymore.

However, free will can overcome the effects of energy.  If you choose to remain fearful and angry, change will take longer.  If you choose to release it, even though that can be challenging, things will improve faster.  Do not worry about what others choose to do.  Focus on yourself.

Final Thoughts

Every time I write about the need to get past the anger, fear and bitterness so many of us feel or share a message from the Archangels to that effect, I get a few comments about how wrong “they” are or were for voting the way they did, how they ignored the handwriting on the wall, how they refused the facts, etc., and all of that is true to some extent, although not in all cases.  Be that as it may, holding on to that anger and outrage and disappointment and bitterness doesn’t help solve a thing, and it doesn’t make anything better or find any solutions.  Rejoicing in others’ suffering, pointing the finger of blame, and saying “I told you so,” isn’t helpful, and it won’t make anything better for you, them, or anyone else.

There are signs that people who voted for the current president are starting to regret or at least question that choice.  This is the window of opportunity the Angels are talking about.  Do you think they’re going to continue to question their choices when they can’t find any compassion or understanding for those choices?  Do you think they’re going to listen to what we may call reason and facts if they are jeered at and persecuted and blamed?  Don’t attack their convictions, whether they’re right or wrong, in your opinion.  Instead, answer their questions or concerns with compassion, if not understanding.  Maybe that way, they can begin to see or at least consider the possibility that there is another way.  If you can’t reach common ground, table the discussion and just let them know you care that they are struggling, that you hope things get better for everyone.

We can’t wait for “them” to change their minds.  We don’t control others and can’t change anyone but ourselves.  Some will change and reconsider past choices, and some will not.  Don’t worry about that.  Instead, work on yourself, because if you hold on to your fear and anger and bitterness, you’re not helping anyone or anything, especially yourself.

If you can’t find compassion, then at least focus on results.  The masses can dictate what the politicians do if they can see past their differences and focus on their commonalities.  That begins with cutting each other some slack and acknowledging that nobody has all the answers, and everyone makes mistakes.  There’s more common ground than most of us realize, because we all want the same thing.  A better life, free of fear and anger.  The opportunity to thrive.  Life’s basic necessities.  We need to find a way to come together, if we want to have these things.

In case you don’t get my monthly newsletter, the intention for Friday Night Meditation in March is Peace.  You may be surprised to know that the Angels or not asking for you to meditate on world peace.  Instead, they ask that we focus on personal peace of mind.  This ties in nicely with today’s message above.  You can’t have peace of mind and be angry or fearful at the same time.  If you’re free any time tonight, from wherever you happen to be, call on the Archangels and ask them to help you with personal peace of mind.  Once you find it, fight hard to hold onto it, despite what’s happening around you.  Some people think that’s impossible, but it is absolutely possible, and the Angels can help you do it.

Happy Friday, everybody.  I hope you have a peaceful weekend, free of fear and anger.  Remember, world peace begins with individual peace.  Otherwise, we wouldn’t know how important it is.

Blessings, all.
